Design
Planning a center of
interest (emphasis), color and the rhythm of your pieces is key as you design
this piece. Your final design(s) must be
original. Words, number and symbols may not be used. If you are
planning to tie dye, you must plan to create something with the fabric, and
have a second dyed piece like a small batik or silk painting to create on the
days the fabric is dying.
Finishing
These pieces must be ready
to display or wear to be considered finished.
For example, photo boards must have a covered back with a hanger. Silkpaintings and batiks must be
dry-cleaned. Dry-cleaning costs $2.00
per piece. Batiks must have finished edges or be made into something to be
displayed or used.
